from your temple is trickling
a drop of blood
the time echoes the hymn’s
words and cries
on the wild hillock alight
falling stars
the green glides too far
a scream shaking the mountains
a tear from the wedding ring
are rolling down
on the window-shade page
the words are lying dumb
the owl stopped foreboding
but God’s eyes let a tear dropping
in the hollow of your hand
