It was a beautiful day when I met Traian on a cargo ship to Afghanistan. We both were illegal immigrants seeking a better life. I forgot to mention that I m from Papua, where big people eat little people and, as I am not so tall...By the end of the events, I wished that Traian was born in Papua and me in Romania.
He was such a heart-breaker: sailor s hat, pirate s eye and whale s laughter. I fell in love with him when he said: Do you know the joke with Basescu? I answered no. He said he also didn t, but that it had to be invented! When we got to Afghanistan, there was a man there that welcomed us - Osama bin Lagar...something like that. He didn t like Traian, because he had no beard. Actually, he almost had no hair at all. But then, my brave captain took a lock out of his hair, the only one, and prolonged it to form a beard. After some years, we got to Bucharest. But my hero Traian became older, his flock fell. I tried to search it, but, in the same time, something like a Boc fell as well and destroyed the tiny flock. Instead of high-school, I spent my youth selling ice-cream. That was nice, I met a lot of interesting people. Until some day, when somebody looking like Frankenstein came to me and said: I am Stolo and I am searching for the Romanian commercial fleet. You happened to have seen it? I said no, but in my mind, I knew that my hero Traian must have the money to buy ice-cream from somewhere... He became mayor of the Capital. And, as I adore dogs, he decided to give them all to me. He never understood that I like living dogs. Those were good times for me - I lost 10 kg. as I walked 5 km. every day to shop from the Mall, as the stores from the market were demolished.A few years ago, he started bragging a neighbor, calling him fag. When the little teddy-bear hit his mouth with a painting, my brave Traian lost half of his teeth. And he promised to Adi: I ll see you in spikes and I ll bring a paprika. Adi said: I ll bring my eggs. This year, I met Calin. He told me he comes from a poetry written by Eminescu. And I imagined that is better than Afghanistan. Nowadays, my former brave Traian is in jail, with his old friend, Johnny Walker. And I keep walking on the motorcycle with my new friend Calin.
